Scottsdale, AZ — The Scottsdale League for the Arts is looking for Arizona’s Foodiest Foodie to be a guest judge at the Scottsdale Culinary Festival on Saturday, April 8, 2017. The winner of this contest will receive a prize package worth $1,000!

The chance to Taste. Every. Single. Dish. and of course, bragging rights!
The winner will also get the chance to visit select participating restaurants to tour and interview the chefs for Facebook Live on the Scottsdale Culinary Festival page during the two weeks prior to the festival.
How to enter:
Entries will be accepted from February 1, 2017 at 9 a.m. through February 15, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Load a 20-30 second video of yourself explaining what makes you “Arizona’s Foodiest Foodie” to Instagram, Facebook or Youtube. The post must be set to public viewing, any videos posted to a private Instagram or YouTube account cannot be accepted. For Facebook, the individual post must be set to public. All video submissions must tag the Scottsdale Culinary Festival social media page and use hashtags #SCFLOVE #SCFFOODIE
The Scottsdale League for the Arts staff will pick their top three favorite videos on February 16, 2017.
February 17, 2017 at 9 a.m. – February 28, 2017 at 5 p.m. will be the open voting period. The Scottsdale Culinary Festival will share the top three finalist videos across it’s social media pages and the public will be able to vote for their favorite to win.
All votes will be tallied and a winner will be selected and announced on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
The winner must accept the terms and conditions by March 5, 2017. If for some reason the winner is not able to participate, the runner up will be awarded the title.
This is non-transferable and there is no cash prize value.
Terms & Conditions:
Open to patrons 21 years of age and older at the time of entry.
Must be an Arizona resident.
Must be available to participate as a judge at the Scottsdale Culinary Festival on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Must not have any food or dietary restrictions that would prevent them from sampling entrees from participating chefs. Exceptions to this rule will be at the discretion of the Scottsdale League for the Arts staff.
Any videos, photographs or audio taken of the winner’s entry video or while performing the Arizona Foodiest Foodie assignment can be used by the Scottsdale League for the Arts in future event marketing efforts.
Not open to current Scottsdale League for the Arts members and it’s board.
About Scottsdale Culinary Festival
Arizona’s tastiest fundraiser is set to return to the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall on Saturday, April 8 – Sunday, April 9, 2017. Hosted by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, event highlights include 40 local restaurants, 30 craft breweries, 20 bands, a teen cooking challenge, chef demos, family zone, wine garden, and the Tito’s Handmade Vodka deck.
The 2.5-acre Scottsdale Culinary Festival grounds will feature eleven themed zones jam packed with interactive experiences to taste, sip and celebrate the Arizona food culture. Access to all zone activity is included in the general admission ticket pricing, with the exception of the VIP zone and the Beer Garden.
Hosted by Four Peaks Brewing Co., the Beer Garden will feature 200 specialty beers from local and national craft breweries, food from local restaurants and beer games. In the Culinary Experience Tent education is the focus with a mixology demo, chocolate making demo, food photography seminar and urban farming seminar. Or, take a break from the food and enjoy live entertainment on three stage. For the kiddos – fun abounds in the Family Zone where kiddos will enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, carnival games, a magician, crafts and more.
On Saturday in the Virginia Piper Theatre, take a break from the festival to watch the preliminary rounds of the second annual Teen Cook Off where local culinary arts students will compete for great prizes and bragging rights. Then, return to the festival on Sunday for the final competition round!
New to the Scottsdale Culinary Festival in 2017 is the Local Lounge presented by Hensley Beverage Co., showcasing local wineries, spirits, and craft beer from around the state of Arizona. Sip and sample the best that the Valley of the Sun has to offer in wines, spirits, and cuisine while being entertained by local musicians and artists.
