Yelp Elites, we about to get down
Who’s up for brunch in the town right now?
Just touched down in Oldtown
Bet they give me a pound cake
Tell them put the Mimosa in my hand right now
Tell the hostess we need more seats
We just told out all the floor seats
Take me to a Farms, I’d like to go someday
Take me to Scottsdale, I’d love to see the Cafe
I really want to…come brunch it with you
I’ll be at Arcadia Farms
Arcadia Farms Cafe is a farm to table concept, but has been around for the past decade as a hot spot to brunch; and who doesn’t like brunch!?
I came with some friends on a lovely Sunday afternoon. The place is cute as hell yo! It’s like walking into Martha Stewarts home! As we proceeded to the patio I couldn’t help but felt a tad bit posh. G’day ma’dam!
Anyways, as we sat they started off by serving some delectable strawberry scones to start! I tell ya; probably the best scones I’ve ever had and they were free making it even better! I’m sure one way or another I paid for it though haha! They were soft to the bite with a perfect flakiness that was not overly falling apart. It was a perfect pairing with my coffee! For my entree I ordered their Fresh Berry Crepes; wrap with mascarpone cheese and topped with whipped cream, berries, and candied almonds. You’d think this was pretty sweet, but instead it was very light and fluffy! The almonds brought the crunch along with the subtle mascarpone bringing in that after sweetness.
Overall, a solid place for a brunch date or a day with the gals. I fortunately were with 4 lovely ladies and we had a blast at Arcadia Farms; guys are welcomed too, but only if you’re wearing a bow-tie…wink! – Enjoy!
