(Lyrics – Prince – Little Red Corvette)
I guess I should of known
By the way you marked your ice cube spirits
With a shot of class
See I’m the kind of Yelper
That believes in trying out once
Eat’em and drink’em fast
I guess I must be dumb
Cause you had a menu full of cocktails
Techniques and some of them never used
But it was Saturday night
I guess that makes the drinks all night
And I say what have I got to lose?
And honey I sing
Baby you’re much too fun
You need a song that’s gonna last
This swanky bar is inside the Residence Inn/Courtyard over
viewing the stadium and unfortunately a parking lot.
Needless to say, don’t let that damper your visit here! The bar has somewhat of a club vibe, but nostalgic enough to move you back the Great Gatsby. Their main menu is catered to their list of drinks available; fun and creative! I didn’t want to drink our cocktails as they came out because they were so pretty! Then again, yeah I did want to drink haha!
For our food, we started with some Umami Fries and I ordered their Poblano Grilled Cheese for my entree. The fries came out piping hot atop with some diced peppers and side of truffle aioli and ponzu ketchup. We finished our first round and literally ordered a second before we left. Let’s just say, I recommend ordering the fries! My grilled cheese sandwich was fun because instead of the traditional American cheese I got Pepper jack and cream cheese. My favorite part was the bread was from Noble Bread; I love the local shout out! The poblano pepper really jelled well with the cream cheese giving it a subtle bite with a slight sting to your nostrils from the hot butter that came on the side. The bread provide a much needed texture and crunch.
Moreover, my companions ordered the Caramel Claypot Wings and the Pho French Dip. The wings were oozing with spicy caramel and steaming hot. However, the crunchiness did not dissipate and that sweet and spicy sauce was worth every morsel; glad it came with some bread to dip! As for the Pho French Dip, this was definitely a unique take on East meets West. I would describe it as a deconstructed Pho because all the elements were there and so was the taste. Be careful of the pickled chilies on the side cause that kicked my ass hard!
In the end, Little Rituals delivered to my palate and the fun drinks did not disappoint. I just wish I had more time to select more; needless to say until next time! – Enjoy!
