This semester I will graduate with a degree in Film and Media Studies and Philosophy. I'm sort of proud of it and I have gotten somewhat smarter and wrote a feature. That said, most of my education at ASU has been in comedy through 4 years of participation in ASU Comedy. My last show as a member of this group is Farce Side's Best Of. I've loved being a member of ASU Comedy's other groups, Barren Mind (directed too!) and Stand Up vs. The World., but Farce Side to me exemplifies the hardest kind of hard work I've done as a comedian. It has totally sucked the whole time and usually the shows aren't that good. 15 kiddos producing an hour long show weekly leads to some trash. That said, after at least 10+ pretty OK shows, we look at the 60+ sketches that were written and we pick the best 12. It's a special show to me and I really care about it. To me, this show is my commencement. I care about the troupe I directed this semester and the best show we will do as a cast. I hope I see you there, friends.
